Explore my portfolio of slice/silence cushions. Each cushion has a unique story of self-injury and history of injustice, kind of like us.
I created these cushions over a three-month period, and I’ve drawn on many methods and media including painting, embroidery, crochet, sewing. Also included are cushions created at The Big Anxiety Festival, where guests were invited to cut, injure, love, hold, heal, stitch, and tattoo the cushions in the space.
